Expert Spotlight: Dr. Mariam Taha, PT, DPT, CSCS

Our Little Beats village has so many smart local experts and we want you to benefit from these connections! This week we are excited to introduce you to a specialist in our community, Dr. Mariam Taha. Mariam is a doctor of physical therapy specializing in pelvic health. She came to our Mindful Mommies support group to help guide the mamas in their physical postpartum journey, answered questions and gave some great tips.

We don’t always understand how traumatic carrying and delivering a baby can be on our bodies but the right self care during the postpartum period can really help the body heal and mitigate long term issues for our core & pelvic floor.

Mariam received a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology and doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She has done extensive continuing education coursework in pelvic health. She is also a strength and conditioning specialist. Mariam always strives to make physical therapy an enjoyable experience and is motivated by working with a variety of patients. She believes in helping everyone achieve a healthier lifestyle!

Dr. Mariam offers a free 15 minute virtual consultation for potential clients and also hosts a postpartum group at her gym in Brookline, MA on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Connect with Dr. Mariam at Taha Training and Physical Therapy and on Intagram @tahatrainingandpt 💪🏼
